Dear Parents,
Aristotle Academy is seeking candidates to fill a vacancy on the Board of Directors. The responsibilities of the Board are:
• Provide oversight functions
• Promote the school’s mission
• Lead planning and policy making
• Achieve charter requirements
• Ensure financial solvency
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Ensure the school has competent, professional staff and hire the Principal
• Ensure a successful academic program as measured by internal and external assessments
The Board serves as an advocate for academic excellence of Aristotle Academy’s students and places those interests at the forefront of decision making. Being a Board member requires examining the current state of school affairs and planning future goals to meet our school’s mission.Interested parties should email questions and/or resumes to Warren Shenk, Principal, at wshenk@aristotleacademyk8.org .
